At least seven students of Tabriz University of medical sciences who protested the chemical attacks on the school have been exiled and deprived of education

Reza Ansarian, Elaheh Ashrafpour, Soheila Sepidehdem, Ali Parvin, Mohammad Amin Sultanzadeh, Amir Hossein Pahlavani, and Amir Mahdi Mousaviyan, students of Tabriz University of Medical Sciences, have been sentenced to deprivation of education and exile by the Central Disciplinary Council of the Iranian Ministry of Health for protesting the widespread chemical attacks on educational centers.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, in recent days, the Central Disciplinary Council of the Iranian Ministry of Health, Amir Mahdi Mousavian, a student of Tabriz University of Medical Sciences, has been banned from education for four semesters and exiled to Semnan, and Reza Ansarian, a medical student of this university has been banned from education for three semesters of and exiled to Urmia.
Elaheh Ashrafpour, a nursing student, has been banned from education for two semesters and exiled to Urmia, and Soheila Sepidehdem, a pharmacy student, has been banned from education for four semesters and exiled to Ahvaz.
The Central Disciplinary Council of the Iranian Ministry of Health has banned Ali Parvin, a pharmacy student, from education for three semesters and exiled to Ardabil, and Mohammad Amin Sultanzadeh, a medical student, has been banned from education for three semesters and exiled to Kashan.
Amir Hossein Pahlavani, a final year student of the pharmacy of this university, has also been banned from education for three semesters.
It should be noted that these orders were issued due to the participation of these students in the protest rally against the large-scale chemical attacks on educational centers on March 7, 2023.
Hengaw has been informed that the number of students who have been sentenced to deprivation of education and exile to other cities is more than 10 people, but their identity has not been verified yet.
