Another citizen named Saman Aslani was arrested by government forces in Sanandaj. During this week, four people have been arrested by government forces in this city.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Thursday, June 1st, 2023, Saman Aslani, 30, from Sanandaj, was arrested by government forces. According to an informed source, this citizen was arrested by the government forces at his workplace, located in Nayser, and taken to an unknown place.
During the arrest of Saman Aslani, at least ten members of the government forces raided Saman’s house and searched his personal belongings. So far, there is no information available on the reasons for the arrest or the charges against this citizen.
Based on the statistics registered in the Statistics and Documents Center of the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, during the month of May 2023, at least 107 citizens were arrested by the government agencies in Iran, 54 of whom were Kurdish citizens.
