With the arrest of four Kurdish citizens from Piranshahr named Abdurrahman Qytaran, Sadruddin Qeytarab, Khizir Mohammadpour, and Habib Khoshnoud, the number of people arrested in this city reached six. Hengaw previously announced the arrest of Jamal Rasulzadeh and Mohammad Mahmoud Fiqh.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on the morning of Sunday, June 11, 2023, the forces of the Iranian Intelligence in Piranshahr raided the village of "Kani Molla" and arrested two brothers named Abdul Rahman Qeytarab and Sadruddin Qeytaran.
Following the wave of arrests of the residents of Kani Molla village in Piranshahr, Khizir Mohammadpour, and Habib Khoshnoud were arrested in the Ashnouzang village of this city on Sunday.
At the same time, Jamal Rasulzadeh and Mohammad Mahmoud Fiqh, two residents of "Khorinj" village, Piranshahr City, have also been arrested.
These citizens were arrested with violence and without providing any legal documents, and so far, detailed information about the reasons for the arrest and the charges, as well as the whereabouts and fate of these Kurdish citizens, are not available.
