The death sentences of two prisoners named Hossein Amaninejad and Hamed Yava

The death sentences of two prisoners named Hossein Amaninejad and Hamed Yavari were carried out in Hamadan prison and two other prisoners named Masoud Sasani and Saeed Nasiri were also executed in Karaj prison. Among these four prisoners, Hamed Yavari was sentenced to death on charges of intentional murder and the rest on drug-related changes.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on the morning of Sunday, June 11, 2023, the death sentences of Hossein Amaninejad and Hamed Yavari, were carried out in the central prison of Hamedan.
Hossein Amaninejad was arrested four years ago on charges related to drugs and Hamed Yavari was arrested six years ago on charges of intentional murder and sentenced to death by the Iranian Judiciary.
On the other hand, at dawn on Saturday, June 10, 2023, two prisoners named Masoud Sasani and Saeed Nasiri were also executed in Karaj Central Prison.
According to the Iranian Human Rights Organization, these two prisoners from the village of "Duran" near Karaj, were previously sentenced to death in a joint case for drug-related charges.
The news of the execution of these prisoners has not been yet announced in the Iranian state media, especially the media affiliated with the judiciary.
