The death sentences of 14 prisoners were executed in Iran's prisons during the last week
During the last week, at least 14 prisoners have been executed in Iran's prisons, of whom eight were sentenced to death for drug-related crimes.

During the last week, at least 14 prisoners have been executed in Iran's prisons, of whom eight were sentenced to death for drug-related crimes.
Based on the statistics registered in the Statistics and Documentation Center of the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, from Saturday, June 10th, to Thursday, June 15th, at least 14 prisoners were executed in different prisons in Iran.
According to this data, eight of these prisoners were sentenced to death on charges of “drug-related crimes”, and six other prisoners were sentenced to death on charges of “premeditated murder”.
In three cases, the majority of executions had taken place in Alborz province prisons. In addition, two cases each were reported in the prisons of Torbat-e Jam, Shiraz, and Hamedan, as well as one case in those of Mashhad, Gachsaran, Ahvaz, Yasuj and Kerman.
According to the statistics of Hengaw, at least 142 prisoners were executed in Iran's prisons last month, which is the highest number of executions in one month in recent years in Iran.
