Burhan Saedi, one of the worker activists from Sanandaj and political prisoners in the 1980s, was condemned to two years in prison by the juridical system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
 

According to the report obtained by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights on Monday, July 24, 2023, Burhan Saedi, the experienced worker activist, has been condemned to two years in prison for the accusation of plotting and conspiracy against national security by the 1st branch of the Revolutionary Court of Sanandaj, headed by Judge Saedi, the president of the court.
 

According to a reliable source, the sentence of two years imprisonment for Burhan Saedi, 59 years old, has been suspended for four years.
 

Burhan Saedi was released from the central prison of Sanandaj on a bail of 500 million tomans on Saturday, June 17, 2023, pending the end of the sentencing process.
 

Before, Hangaw on Burhan Saedi's heart disease indicated that access to Saedi's medicines is blocked and he has been deprived of medical treatment in the Sanandaj intelligence office.

This worker activist, after being summoned to the intelligence department, was arrested on Monday, May 18, 2023.
