53 days have passed since the arrest of Arash Sharifi, a Kurdish citizen from Marivan, by the Iranian government forces and so far there is still no precise information about his condition.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, even though one month and 22 days have passed since the arrest of Arash Sharifi, a Kurdish citizen from the Tangisar village of Sanandaj and a resident of Marivan, there is still no news about his fate.
According to an informed source, 34-year-old Arash Sharifi has not had any meetings with his family members during his detention and has been denied access to a lawyer.
Earlier, after publishing the news of Arash Sharifi's arrest at his workplace in Marivan, Hengaw wrote that some personal belongings, including his mobile phone, were confiscated by the Iranian government forces.
Arash Sharifi was arrested by the Iranian government forces on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, in the city of Marivan and has since been transferred to an unknown location.
