Three Cultural Activists were arrested by Iranian Security forces

Three cultural activists from Sanandaj, Masoud Mirzaei, his brother Ibrahim Mirzaei, and Hozan Babakarami, have been detained by Iranian security forces, and their whereabouts are unknown.
 
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Masoud Mirzaei, a cultural activist from Sanandaj, was detained at the police checkpoint on the route from Kermanshah to Sanandaj on Monday, July 24, 2023.
 
An informed source confirmed that 53-year-old Masoud Mirzaei, who has diabetes and recently undergone cardiac surgery, is denied access to his medicines.
 
Ibrahim Mirzaei, the brother of Masoud Mirzaei, who is also an activist, has been detained at his workplace.
 
On the same day, Hozan Babakarami, another activist, was arrested at his workplace in Sanandaj by the government forces without submitting an arrest warrant.

Until now, their whereabouts and condition were unknown.
