The death sentences of four prisoners were executed in Dezful, Maragheh, and Zahedan prisons

The death sentences of three prisoners named Abdul Samad Shahozehi, Mahmoud Rigi, and Hossein Javadi were executed in Zahedan and Maragheh prisons. This prisoner was previously sentenced to death on the charge of "premeditated murder". And the death sentence of one prisoner was also executed in Dezful Central Prison for drug-related crimes.
 
According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Saturday, August 19, 2023, the death sentences of Abdul Samad Shahozehi and Mahmoud Rigi, both 28 years old and from Zahedan, were executed in the central prison of this city.
 
These two prisoners were arrested and sentenced to death by the Zahedan Criminal Court for the charge of "premeditated murder" in a joint case in September 2012.

Based on the statistics registered in the Statistics and Documents Center of the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, with the registration of the executions of Abdul Samad Shahozehi and Mahmoud Rigi, the number of Baloch prisoners who have been executed in Iranian prisons since the beginning of 2023 (8 months) reached 100.

At the same time, the death sentence of a prisoner was executed in Dezful Central Prison. The government media, without mentioning the identity of this prisoner, described his charge as "carrying and possessing narcotics".
 
Earlier, at dawn on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, the death sentence of Hossein Javadi, 42, from Shabestar, was executed in Maragheh Central Prison. This prisoner was previously sentenced to death by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic for the charge of "premeditated murder". He was engaged in animal husbandry before his arrest.
 
As of the time of this reporting, the news of the execution of these prisoners has not been announced in the government media, especially the media affiliated with the judiciary.
