Sharmin Habibi, one of the plaintiff's families in Saqqez, was arrested

Sharmin Habibi, the wife of Faraydoun Mahmoudi, one of the victims of the Jin, Jiyan, Azadi (Woman, Life, Freedom) movement in Saqqez, was arrested by government forces and taken to an unknown location.
 
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, Sharmin Habibi, the mother of a seven-year-old child and one of the petitioner families of Saqqez, was arrested by government forces.
 
Until further notice, no information about the arrest of Sharmin Habibi, including the charges against her and the condition of her whereabouts, is available.

Fereydoun Mahmoudi, a 33-year-old man from Saqqez, died on Monday, September 19, 2022, during the popular protests in this city, by a direct shot from Iranian government forces. His body was secretly buried at night without a ceremony due to the obstruction of Iranian government institutions.
