Rahman Ahmadi and Adil Ahmadi, two young cousins from Baneh, were arrested during a raid by Iranian government forces over the past few days; their fate is still undisclosed.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organisation for Human Rights, 33-year-old Rahman Ahmadi, along with Adil Ahmadi, both from the "Sivech-e Sofla" village of Baneh County, were arrested by the government forces, and their situation hasn't been determined despite efforts by their families to follow up.
According to reliable sources, ten vehicles of the Iranian government forces raided the Sivech-e Sofla village, including special units. After entering the residence of these two individuals, they arrested them without providing any arrest warrant.
On the same day, Behzad Obedi, another individual, was also arrested. Behzad Obedi was released after 24 hours, and two other individuals are still in custody.
These three citizens were forcibly arrested on Thursday, August 24, 2023, by the Iranian government forces.
So far, the reasons for the arrest and the charges against Rahman Ahmadi and Adil Ahmadi, as well as their location and conditions, are undisclosed.
