The death sentences of two prisoners named Sajad Moradi and Yaser Golzardian, who were previously sentenced to death for drug-related offenses, were carried out in Parsilon Prison in Khorramabad.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Tuesday morning, October 17, 2023, the death sentences of two prisoners named Sajad Moradi and Yaser Golzardian, who were previously sentenced to death for drug-related offenses, were carried out in Parsilon Prison in Khorramabad.
Yaser Golzardian from Kohdasht was arrested six years ago, and Sajad Moradi was arrested four years ago. They were sentenced to death by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran for drug-related offenses.
These two prisoners, along with another prisoner, were transferred to the solitary cell of Parsilon prison to execute their sentences yesterday.
It is noteworthy that, as of the time of this report, there has been no official announcement of the execution of these two prisoners in government-sanctioned media outlets, particularly those aligned with the judiciary.
