Parasto Faridi, a 20-year-old student from Tabriz, was arrested by the Iranian security forces and taken to an unknown location.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Parasto Faridi, a fourth-semester student of industrial engineering at the Tabriz State University, was arrested by the Iranian Intelligence forces in Tabriz on Saturday, November 4, 2023, and was taken to an unknown location.
A source close to Faridi’s family told Hengaw: "At 7:30 today, at least five agents from the intelligence department stormed the home of Prasto Faridi’s parents and arrested her without presenting any legal documents."
Hengaw has been informed that the Iranian Intelligence forces have seized her mobile phone, laptop, and several flash drives while searching her house.
So far, despite the continuous follow-up of the Faridi family, precise information about the reasons for the arrest and the charges against Parasto Faridi, as well as her fate and whereabouts, is not clear.
