In November 2023, the victimization of Kolbar children reached a concerning peak, with 10 reported injuries, surpassing the annual statistics of the past decade, according to the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights' Statistics and Documentation Center.

During the final days of October through November 2023, the border areas of Kurdistan witnessed a surge in incidents where at least 10 children, working as Kolbars, were injured while transporting goods. This figure represents the highest recorded in recent years, and notably, in the past decade, the yearly count of Kolbar children falling victim has never exceeded 10 cases.

The data reveals that nine of these children sustained injuries from direct gunfire by border regiment troops, while one child was harmed by a mine explosion. Geographically, the incidents occurred with seven children from Saqqez injured, two from Sanandaj, and one from Nowsud. Specifically, nine cases transpired at the Baneh border and one at the Nowsud border.

The injured Kolbar children, along with their respective details, are as follows:

1. Shahram Amini, 17 years old and from Saqqez, was injured on October 31, 2023, at the Baneh border due to a mine explosion.
2. Mobin (last name unknown), 16 years old, from Nodshe, sustained injuries on November 8, 2023, at the Nodshe border from direct fire by border regiment forces.
3. Arin Mohammadi, a 14-year-old from Sanandaj, was wounded on November 14, 2023, at the Baneh border due to direct fire from border regiment forces.
4. Iman (last name unspecified), 17 years old and from Sanandaj, was wounded on November 14, 2023, at the Baneh border by direct fire from border regiment forces.
5. Barzan Osmani, 17 years old and from Saqqez, was injured on November 15, 2023, at the Baneh border by direct fire from border regiment forces.
6. Hamidreza Hafizi, 17 years old, from Saqqez, was wounded on November 15, 2023, at the Baneh border by direct fire from border regiment forces.
7. Farzad Hosseini, 17 years old and from Saqqez, was injured on November 15, 2023, at the Baneh border by direct fire from the Border Regiment.
8. Mahan Mousavi, 16 years old, from Saqqez, sustained injuries on November 18, 2023, at the Baneh border due to direct fire from border regiment forces.
9. Sarkawt Abbasi, 16 years old, from Saqqez, was wounded on November 17, 2023, at the Baneh border by direct fire from border regiment forces.
10. Dana Farajpour, 17 years old and from Saqqez, was injured on November 17, 2023, at the Baneh border by direct fire from border regiment forces.
