The death sentences of two Kurdish prisoners named Muslim Jamshidi and Mohammad Andishgu, who were previously sentenced to death for drug-related offenses, were carried out in Ghezel Hesar Prison in Karaj.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Organisation for Human Rights, on the morning of Wednesday, November 22, 2023, the death sentences of two prisoners named Muslim Jamshidi from Harsin and Mohammad Andishgu, 55, from Kermanshah, were carried out in Ghezel Hesar Prison in Karaj.
According to an informed source, these two prisoners had been previously detained for drug-related offenses and were later sentenced to death by the judicial authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
It is noteworthy that, as of the time of this report, there has been no official announcement of the execution of these two prisoners in government-sanctioned media outlets, particularly those aligned with the judiciary.
