The death sentence of at least one Baloch prisoner with the identity of Fereydoun Nasiri-nejad, who was previously sentenced to death for drug-related charges was carried out in Jiroft Central Prison in Kerman province.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Monday, December 4, 2023, the death sentence of Fereydoun Nasiri-nejad, 33 years old and a resident of Zaheden, was carried out in Jiroft Central Prison in Kerman province.
Fereydoun Nasirinejad, the father of four children, was arrested three years ago on drug-related charges and then sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary.
So far, the news of the execution of this prisoner has not been announced in the Iranian state media, especially the media close to the judiciary.
Based on the statistics registered in the Statistics and Documents Center of Hengaw, since March 2023, at least 160 Baloch prisoners have been executed in Iran's prisons, on average, one prisoner has been executed every two days.
