The death sentence of a Dehdasht-residing prisoner identified as Zabihollah Arjomand was implemented in the central prison of the city. This prisoner was formerly taken into custody under drug-related crime charges.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, a 35-year-old Bakhtiari Lor individual identified as Zabihollah Arjomand from Dehdasht was executed in the central prison of this city.
Based on the information of a reliable resource, Zabihollah Arjomand was taken into custody due to drug-related crimes and subsequently sentenced to death by the Judicial System of the I.R.I.
According to the data collected by the Statistics and Documentation Center of the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the death sentences of at least 410 prisoners have been implemented in Iran's prisons since the beginning of the current year.
