The death sentences of at least two Kurdish prisoners were implemented in the Karaj central prison. These prisoners are identified as Amin Zakeri Kakavand, and Khalil Haji Abadi from Kangavar (Kermanshah province).
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, the death sentences of Amin Zakeri Kakavand, from Harsin, and Khalil Haji Abadi, from Kangavar, were carried out in the Karaj central prison.
Based on information from a reliable source, these prisoners were charged with drug-related crimes and received a death sentence from the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
