According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, the death sentence of Ali Babaei, a 38-year-old Kurdish prisoner who was previously sentenced to death on charges of drug-related crimes, was carried out.
Four years ago, Ali Babei was arrested on charges of drug-related crimes. Subsequently, he was sentenced to death by the judiciary system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
