The death sentence of a Baloch prisoner named Mosafer Razgar, who was previously sentenced to death for "premeditated murder,” was carried out in Mashhad Central Prison. Additionally, another Baloch prisoner named Khairullah Nahtani, who was previously sentenced to death for drug-related offenses, was executed in Zahedan Central Prison.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on the morning of Thursday, December 14, 2023, the death sentence of Mosafer Razgar, 29, from Mashhad, was executed in the central prison of the city, and the death sentence of Khairullah Nahtani, 38, from Zabol, was executed in Zahedan Central Prison.
Mosafer Razgar had been detained in Mashhad six years ago on charges of premeditated murder and later sentenced to imprisonment by the judicial authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Also, Khairullah Nahtani was sentenced to death two years ago on charges related to drug crimes.
It is noteworthy that, as of the time of this report, there has been no official announcement of the execution of these two prisoners in government-sanctioned media outlets, particularly those aligned with the judiciary.
