The death sentence of Mohammad Reza Mehraban, a Kurdish prisoner from Ghorveh previously convicted of Premeditated Murder, has been carried out in Sanandaj Central Prison.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, Mohammad Reza Mehraban's death sentence was executed at dawn.
The Kurdish prisoner had been sentenced to death by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic on charges related to Premeditated Murder.
Hengaw had earlier reported his transfer to solitary confinement earlier this week.
