The death penalty of an individual identified as Hamid Ebadi Nezhad was carried out in the Rasht central prison. This inmate faced capital punishment for drug-related crime charges.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Wednesday, January 17, the death sentence of a Gilak individual from Soleyman-Darab village in Rasht, identified as Hamid Ebadi Nezhad, was implemented in the central prison of this city.

Based on an informed source, Hamid Ebadi Nezhad was apprehended due to drug-related crime charges and faced capital punishment from the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
