The death sentences of two inmates identified as Hossein Ali Shakourian and Nasser Mavadat have been implemented in Sabzevar Central Prison. Likewise, another death sentence for an inmate identified as Moslem Aliyari was carried out in Shirvan (North Khorasan Province) prison.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Monday, January 22, the death sentences of 37-year-old Hossein Ali Shakourian from Sabzevar and 51-year-old Nasser Mavadat from Mashhad were implemented in Sabzevar central prison.

Citing IHR (Iran Human Rights), respectively, Hossein Ali Shakourian and Nasser Mavadat were apprehended 3 and 5 years ago and subsequently given death sentence verdicts for drug-related crime charges.

Similarly, on Sunday, January 21, 2024, the death sentence of 40-year-old Moslem Aliyari was implemented in Shirvan Central Prison.

This Kurdish individual was a resident of Shirvan city (North Khorasan province) and was apprehended four years ago under a homicide charge. He afterwards faced a death sentence verdict from the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

As of the release of this news, there has been a notable silence regarding these executions from government media outlets, particularly those that are affiliated with the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
