Journalist Arrested in Kamyaran

Hengaw: Another environmental activist and journalist from Kamyaran was arrested by Iran's security forces and transferred to an unknown place.

On Sunday, January 6, Intelligence forces of Kamyaran Arrested Amanj Qorbani, Journalist and environmental activist from the city in his workplace, the office for environment protection, and transferred him to an unknown place, according to the report of Hengaw Organisation for Human Rights.

Amanj Qorbani is a well known journalist and activist in Kamyaran who was working in the city's office for environment protection.

Since the beginning of 2019 at least 7 environmental activists have been arrested in Kamyaran.
