At least3 Kurdish prisoners have transferred to solitary confinement to serve their death sentences

Hengaw: At least 3 Kurdish  prisoners sentenced to death, who are being held in Urmia Central Prison, were transferred to solitary confinement to serve their death sentences.

According to a report received by  Henagw Human Rights Organization, on Thursday, April 8, 2021, 3  prisoners sentenced to death for drug-related crimes were transferred to solitary confinement in Urmia Central Prison and their death sentences are to be implemented in the upcoming days.

So far, the identities of two of these prisoners, Yousef Rasho Hashtian and Bayazdi Rashidi, have been verified for Hengaw .

On Sunday, April 4, three other Kurdish  prisoners, Ahad Habibovand, Mohammad Karim Mahmoudi, and Sadeghi Mohi, were executed  in Urmia Central Prison on the same charges.
