Hengaw: Based on the report of Hangaw Organisation for Human Rights, Iran's supreme court affirmed the death sentence of "Arsalan Khodkam" the political prisoner from Mahabad and delivered the sentence to him officially.

On the late August of this year the Kurdish prisoner was sentenced on charges of espionage and cooperation with the Democratic Party of Kurdistan of Iran.

Arsalan Khodkam, 50 from Mahabad has been a member of the Revolutionary Guards since 1991.

He is an ex-Peshmarga of the Democratic Party of Kurdistan of Iran, and after surrendering himself, became a member of the Revolutionary Gaurds Corps.

Arsalan Khodkam was arrested on March 2018 by the security forces of Mahabad. He is,now, in the joint 3 of Urmia's Central Prison.
