The death sentence of a prisoner from Dorud city identified as Masoud Qaed Rahmati was executed on the morning of Saturday, September 3, 2022, in Khorramabad Central Prison.
According to the report received by Hengaw Human Rights Organization, Masoud Qaed Rahmati was arrested by the police forces in 2018 and was later sentenced to death by the Islamic Republic of Iran's judiciary on charges of drug-related crimes (carrying 6 kilograms of Heroin).
Hengaw sources have reported that Masoud Qaed Rahmati was only the driver of the car in which the drug was found, and he himself did not know about this issue.
