Kurdish asylum seekers from Sardasht loses his life on the French-Belgian border

Hengaw : A Kurdish asylum seeker from Sardasht district of West Azerbaijan (Urmia’s) province in Iranian Kurdistan has lost his life in an accident while trying to reach Britain.

According to a report received by Hengaw  Human Rights Organization, a Kurdish asylum seeker from Sardasht, identified as "Loghman Marasani” , who had recently entered the European Union via Turkey, lost his life in an accident.

According to an informed source, this person and two other asylum seekers were boarded on  a truck from France to go to Britain, but when they noticed the  the truck had entered  Belgian territory, they jumped out of the truck , and Loghman  lost his life after hitting a signpost .

The body of this Kurdish asylum seeker, who is from the village of "Bewaran " in Sardasht, is currently being kept by Belgian police .
