Two prisoners executed in Isfahan Central Prison

The death sentences of two Baloch prisoners, Ahmad Barahouei and Kurus Naroui, convicted on drug-related charges, were carried out in Dastgerd Central Prison in Isfahan.

According to reports received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the executions of Ahmad Barahouei, a resident of Zabol, and Kurus Naroui, 47 years old, a father of three, from Zahedan, took place at dawn on Monday, December 30, 2024.

Both individuals had been arrested six years ago in Nain, Isfahan Province, on charges related to drug offenses and were subsequently sentenced to death. In recent days, they had been transferred to solitary confinement in preparation for their executions.

As of the time of this report, the executions have not been announced by state-affiliated media or judiciary-related outlets.
