2 other Kurdish citizens detained in Sarvabad

 Hengaw: Following the recent wave of mass detention of Kurdish citizens, two other citizens from a village in Sarvabad district of Kurdistan province in Iranian Kurdistan have been detained  by Iranian security forces.

 According to a report received by Hengaw Human Rights Organization, on the morning of Tuesday, January 12, 2021, two  Kurdish citizens from the village of Selin in Sarvabad were detained  by Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guards intelligence forces and taken to an unknown location.  .

 These two citizens have been identified as , Akram Advaei, 31, and Siamak Advaei, 24 . They were  allegedly beaten by security forces during their detention.

 According to an informed source, these two citizens were detained  on charges of collaborating with a Kurdish opposition.

According  to statistics compiled by Hengaw Human Rights Organization's Statistics and Documentation Data Center at least 22 Kurdish activists have been detained by Iranian security forces in less than a week in Iranian Kurdistan.
