Four Balochs, including a Child Killed by Direct Fire from Iranian Armed Forces

Two separate incidents have resulted in the deaths of two brothers, along with a child and his father, due to gunfire from the security and military forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the cities of Hirmand and Saravan, Sistan and Balouchistan Province.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, 14-year-old Bilal Nasrati died two days after being shot by security forces in Saravan.

This is while the father of this child, 28-year-old Asghar Gomshad Zehi, died on the spot on Monday evening, May 13, 2024, by being shot by security forces inside his car (Peugeot Pars). Additionally, two other members of the family, a 7-year-old child and the mother, sustained injuries in the shooting.

According to the Haalvsh news collection, several government vehicles stationed at the Post intersection in the center of Saravan city opened fire on the car of these individuals from several directions without prior warning.


In a separate incident late on Monday evening, May 13, two brothers, Mohammad Sarani, 33 years old and father of two children, and Gholam Sarani, 38 years old and father of four children, were killed by border guards in the border village of Kando, located in Hirmand city.

Furthermore, another brother, Nabi Sarani, 42 years old and father of four children, along with another individual named Nazir Rakhshani, sustained serious injuries in this incident.
