Report on the Arrest of Parivash Muslemi by Iranian Security Agencies in Tehran

A woman named Parivash Muslemi has been arrested and transferred to prison following her summons to the Evin Prosecutor's Office in Tehran.

According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights,  on Sunday, July 7, 2024, Parivash Muslemi, aged 46, was summoned to the Evin Prosecutor's Office on charges of "propaganda against the regime," "insulting Khomeini and Khamenei," and "unlawful assembly and collusion." She was subsequently arrested and transferred to the women's ward of Evin Prison in Tehran.

She was also arrested in April 2024 by the Iranian security forces in Noor city of Mazandaran province and was released after three days.

She was previously arrested in September 2023 on the anniversary of Jina Amini's death at the hands of the Iranian morality police. After one month in Qarchak Varamin prison, she was released on bail.
