Sarir Moqen, Baha’i woman, arrested by Iranian security forces in Isfahan

Iranian security forces arrested Sarir Moqen, a Baha’i woman residing in Isfahan, and transferred her to Dowlatabad Prison.
According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Intelligence Department forces raided Moqen’s family home on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, arrested her, and transferred her to Dowlatabad Prison in Isfahan.
During the arrest, the forces searched the family home and confiscated several of Moqen’s personal and electronic belongings, as well as family property, including cash, gold, and a piano.
Her family’s efforts to obtain information about her condition and circumstances in detention have so far been unsuccessful.
Authorities have not disclosed the reasons for Moqen’s arrest or the charges against her.
