Iran Arrests Three Members of a Kurdish Family in Bukan

Sarveh Shiri, her brother Peyman Shiri, and their cousin Fardin Shiri were arrested by Iranian intelligence forces in the village of "Targheh" in Bukan, West Azerbaijan (Urmia) province.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, the Iranian intelligence forces in Bukan raided the village of "Targheh" and arrested three members of a family: Sarveh Shiri, 22, her brother Peyman Shiri, 19, and their cousin Fardin Shiri.
Informed sources stated that the intelligence forces arrested these three Kurdish civilians without presenting any legal warrant and then transferred them to one of the agency’s detention centers in Urmia.
To date, no specific information is available regarding the reasons for their arrest, the charges brought against them, or their whereabouts and condition.
