The Death Sentence of a Kurdish Prisoner Carried Out in Dieselabad Prison, Kermanshah

The death sentence of a Kurdish prisoner named Jahanbakhsh Mahmoudi, who had previously been sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary on charges of "premeditated murder," was carried out in Dieselabad Prison, Kermanshah.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, early on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, the death sentence of Jahanbakhsh Mahmoudi, a resident of Bisotun County, was carried out in Kermanshah Central Prison (Dieselabad Prison).

Hengaw sources stated that this prisoner had been arrested two years ago on charges of "premeditated murder" and sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary.

To date, the news of the execution of this prisoner has not been announced by Iranian state media, particularly those affiliated with the judiciary.
