The death sentences of three prisoners — Hesam Salari, a Baloch man; Bahador Elyasi, a Lor man; and Soleiman Naseri Khez, a Kurdish man — were carried out in the prisons of Saravan and Kermanshah. They had previously been convicted of “premeditated murder” and drug-related charges.

According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Sunday, August 10, 2025, 20-year-old Hesam Salari (also known as Raeisi), from Jaleq in Golshan County, Sistan and Baluchestan province, was executed in Saravan Central Prison. He had been arrested a year earlier on charges of murder and was sentenced to death by the judiciary. Salari had been transferred from the general ward to solitary confinement on Thursday, August 7, in preparation for his execution.

On Saturday, August 9, 2025, two other executions took place in Kermanshah’s Dizelabad Prison. The prisoners were Bahador Elyasi, 31, from Khorramabad, and Soleiman Naseri Khez, from Kermanshah. Both had been arrested — Elyasi three years ago and Naseri approximately five years ago — on drug-related charges and were eventually sentenced to death.

News of these executions has not been reported by state-run media, particularly outlets affiliated with Iran’s judiciary.
