Woman, Life, Freedom movement: Two kurdish men from Kurdistan Region of Iraq, sentenced to prison by Iran court

Aram Bahaddin and Rasul Reza Sharif, two Kurdish individuals from the city of Penjwen in the Sulaymaniyah province of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq have collectively been sentenced to 22 years and 6 months in prison by the judiciary of Islamic Republic of Iran. They were arrested during the Woman, Life, Freedom (Jin, Jiyan, Azadî) movement,
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the two Kurdish men, Aram Bahaddin from the village of "Chalaw" and Rasul Reza Sharif from the village of "Taymaz" in Penjwen city, Kurdistan Region of Iraq, were arrested two years ago by the security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran during the Woman, Life, Freedom movement and have been imprisoned in this city's prison without the right to leave.
Hengaw has learned that these two individuals were subjected to severe torture during their three-month detention in solitary confinement and had no contact with their families. Eventually, they were each sentenced to 15 years of imprisonment by Branch 1 of the Revolutionary Court of Sanandaj (Sineh) on the charge of "acting against national security."
The sentences were later reduced to 11 years and 3 months each after they submitted to the court’s ruling, and they have since remained imprisoned in Sanandaj and Baneh prisons.
It is noteworthy that, during their arrest, the two individuals were deprived of their basic rights, including access to a lawyer and the right to contact and meet with their family members.
