Iranian Authorities Arrest Two 17-Year-Old Baloch Students in Rask

Two 17-year-old Baloch students, Adnan Notakzahi and Amir Hossein Derafsheh, were arrested by security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the city of Rask, Sistan and Baluchistan Province.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, IRGC intelligence forces stormed Allameh Tabatabaei School in the village of Firoozabad, Rask County, and arrested the two students, transferring them to an undisclosed location.

Haalvsh, a media outlet covering news in Balochistan, reported that IRGC intelligence forces raided the school at 9 a.m. and arrested the students due to their online activities.

As of the time of this report, no further information is available regarding the whereabouts or condition of the two Baloch students.
