Death Sentence for a Prisoner in Hamedan Central Prison Carried Out

The death sentence of a Kurdish prisoner from Kermanshah, named Ashkan Yari, who had previously been sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary for drug-related charges, was carried out in Hamedan Central Prison.
According to a report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on the morning of Saturday, October 5, 2024, the death sentence of Ashkan Yari, a resident of Kermanshah, was carried out in Hamedan Central Prison (Alvand Prison).
According to informed sources, this prisoner was arrested four years ago for drug-related charges and sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
