Three Christian converts arrested in Nowshahr, Iran; whereabouts unknown

Three Christian converts, named Jahangir Alikhani, Hamed Malamiri, and Gholam Eshaghi, were arrested by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Intelligence forces in the city of Nowshahr, a district of Mazandaran Province.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, these three Christian converts were arrested three weeks ago by IRGC Intelligence forces in Nowshahr. Despite the efforts of their families, no information has been made available regarding the fate or whereabouts of these individuals.

As reported by the Article 18 organization, these three individuals were arrested on September 23 and 24, 2024, during raids on their homes by IRGC Intelligence forces in Nowshahr. The arrests were made without the presentation of any legal warrants.

It is worth mentioning that these three individuals were also arrested in December 2023, during the arrest of 20 Christian converts by security forces.
