Three IRGC members killed or injured in armed clash

At least one member of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) was killed, and two others were injured in an armed clash with guerrillas from the Free Life Party of Kurdistan (PJAK).
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on the evening of Monday, October 21, 2024, a confrontation occurred between PJAK guerrillas and IRGC forces in the Shaho Mountains, near the village of “Devaznaw” in Kurdistan (Sanandaj) Province.
Hengaw sources confirmed that one IRGC member, identified as Mohammad Ahmadpour, was killed during the clash, while two other IRGC members were injured.
The Tasnim News Agency, a state-affiliated media outlet, has also confirmed the death of the IRGC member but did not provide details on the exact time and location of the incident.
