Death sentence of two prisoners carried out in Qom Central Prison

The death sentences of two prisoners, previously convicted of “premeditated murder” in a joint case, were carried out in Qom Central Prison. The identities of the two men have been confirmed as Ali Mostafavi and Hossein Ali-Maleki.
According to reports received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, the executions of Ali Mostafavi and Hossein Ali-Maleki, both 38 years old and from Malard in Tehran Province, were carried out in Qom Central Prison.
Sources indicate that these two prisoners were arrested three years ago on charges of murdering a man. Subsequently they were sentenced to death by the judiciary of Islamic Republic of Iran.
