Prisoner executed in Sari Central Prison

The death sentence of a Ehsan Jamshidi, a resident of Sari, Mazandaran Province, was carried out in Sari Central Prison. He had previously been convicted by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran on drug-related charges.

According to a report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Saturday, February 1, 2025, Ehsan Jamshidi, 40 years old and from Sari, was executed in Sari Central Prison.

Sources report that Jamshidi had been arrested three years ago on drug-related charges and was later sentenced to death by the judiciary.
