Qasr-e Shirin: Kurdish kolbar killed by direct Fire from IRGC border forces

Shahnam Zaheri-Nejad, a Kolbar from Sarpol-e Zahab, was killed by direct fire from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) forces at the Qasr-e Shirin border in Kermanshah (Kermashan) province.
According to a report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, in the early hours of Friday, February 28, 2025, Shahnam Zaheri-Nejad, a 35-year-old Kolbar from the village of "Maleh Rowlan" in Sarpol-e Zahab county, was fatally shot by IRGC forces stationed at the Qasr-e Shirin border.
According to informed sources, Shahnam Zaheri-Nejad was married and the father of three children. He was a follower of the Yarsan faith, a religious minority group.
