Dehloran: Kurdish activist Saadollah Ayini, a Detainee of the “Woman, Life, Freedom” Movement, arrested to serve prison term

Saadollah Ayini, a Kurdish civil activist from Dehloran and one of the detainees from the “Jin, Jiyan, Azadi” (women, life, freedom) movement, has been arrested to serve his 12-year and one-day prison sentence and transferred to Ilam Central Prison.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Saturday, March 1, 2025, security forces raided Saadollah Ayini’s home and arrested him with violence and without presenting any judicial warrant. He was subsequently transferred to Ilam Central Prison to serve his sentence.
In January 2024, Aiyini was sentenced to 12 years and one day in prison by Branch 1 of the Revolutionary Court, a verdict that was later upheld by the Court of Appeals.
On February 14, 2023, following public protests in Dehloran, Saadollah Ayini, Farshad Ayini, Azim Yadegari, and Safoura Maleki were arrested by security forces in the city.
It is noteworthy that Saadollah Ayini, along with Azim Yadegari, Hossein Bapirvand, and Farshad Ayini, previously went on a hunger strike in Ilam Central Prison to protest their prolonged detention and the extension of their temporary detention orders.
