Death sentence of Majid Vahidi carried out in Sari Central Prison

The death sentence of a prisoner named Majid Vahidi was carried out in Sari Central Prison, the capital of Mazandaran province. He had previously been sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary on charges of "premeditated murder." 

According to a report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, Majid Vahidi, 26 years old was executed in Sari Central Prison.

The prisoner had been arrested three years ago on charges of killing his friend and was sentenced to death by the judiciary.

As of the time of this report, the news of this prisoner's execution has not been announced in state media, particularly those affiliated with the judiciary.
