Hengaw - Friday, May 16, 2025

Saleh Bahramzehi, a 14-year-old Baloch boy from Nasirabad village in Sarbaz County, was forcibly arrested by Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Intelligence agents in Rask. His current condition and whereabouts remain unknown.

According to reports received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the child was detained with excessive force on May 14, 2025. Witnesses reported that IRGC agents blindfolded Saleh and transported him in the trunk of a military vehicle. No information has been provided to the family despite their repeated inquiries.

As reported by the Halvash News outlet, Saleh was arrested while playing with his friends. IRGC agents did not present an arrest warrant or inform the family in advance.

Saleh comes from a family that has previously been targeted by the state. His brother, Ghasem Bahramzehi, was killed by security forces in Rask in November 2024, and his body was returned to the family only under the condition of silence. His uncle, Ayoub Bahramzehi, was executed in 2013 alongside 16 other Baloch prisoners.

As of now, there are no official charges or explanations for Saleh Bahramzehi’s arrest.
