Baha’i adherent Mahyar Meybodi arrested by IRGC Intelligence in Rafsanjan

Mahyar Meybodi, a Baha’i adherent from Rafsanjan in Kerman Province, was arrested by agents of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Intelligence Organization and transferred to an undisclosed location.

According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Meybodi was detained at his home in Rafsanjan on Saturday, June 28, 2025, by IRGC intelligence forces.

During the arrest, agents conducted a thorough search of the residence, confiscating several personal belongings, including laptops, mobile phones, and other digital devices belonging to Meybodi and his family members.

No information has been released regarding the reasons for his arrest, his place of detention, or any charges against him.
