Baha’i adherent Shahram Falah arrested by intelligence forces in Kerman

Shahram Falah, a 64-year-old Baha’i adherent from Kerman, was arrested by agents of the Intelligence Office and transferred to the agency’s detention facility.
According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on the evening of Monday, August 18, 2025, Falah was detained at his home in Kerman and taken to the detention center. Since his arrest, he has not had any contact with his family.
Sources told Hengaw that during the arrest, intelligence agents confiscated the mobile phones of Falah’s family members and guests, along with several of his religious books and images.
As of the time of this report, no reliable information is available regarding the reasons for his arrest, the charges against him, or his current condition.
