Five Kurdish minors arrested by Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence in Kamyaran

Five Kurdish minors from Kamyaran, Payam Hosseini, Awraz Zamani, Behrouz Rashidi, Ehsan Sabouri and Kavan Sabouri, have been arrested by Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence over the past week.

According to information obtained by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Payam Hosseini, 17, from the village of Lown Sadat and a resident of Kamyaran, was detained at his family home on Thursday, September 11, 2025, by intelligence agents.

At dawn on Friday, September 12, Ehsan Sabouri and Kavan Sabouri, both 17 and from the village of Gazorkhani in Kamyaran County, were also taken from their homes.

Earlier, on Monday, September 8, Awraz Zamani and Behrouz Rashidi, both 17 and residents of Kamyaran, were arrested at their family homes by officers from the Intelligence Department.

Sources familiar with the case said the arrests were carried out with intimidation and without any warrants. Since their detention, there has been no information about their fate.

Awraz Zamani and Behrouz Rashidi were reportedly transferred from Kamyaran to a Ministry of Intelligence detention center in Sanandaj (Sine) after their arrest.

No verified details are available regarding the reasons for the arrests, the detainees’ place of detention or any charges against them.
